Our People

CHRIS BROWN - MANAGING DIRECTOR

Chris Brown, the Managing Director and founder of Domeshells Australia Pty. Ltd. is an inspiring figure who is passionate about re-defining (for the better), the way we dwell within our environments.

Chris's involvement in the building industry spans more than 30 years, from the early days in South Africa among his "family of builders", to his present day business based in the Shire of Byron Bay (Billinudgel) on the beautiful North Coast of New South Wales.

His interest in building innovation originates from helping Zulus build "Rondavels" in South Africa as a child. This exotic grounding and Chris's many years of hands on experience with residential, commercial, industrial and civic projects, has culminated in what is set to be a true revolution in building design; "Domeshells", also known as c2s3™ Technology.

Chris: " I have always been mystified why so many homes are built with so little thought regarding the suitability of the design for the site and the occupants. My initial attraction to DomeShells was the potential to create a superior lightweight, modular building system that had the ability to cope with very high loads and with superior thermal qualities that would easily adapt to any geographic or climatic condition."

JOHN CURRY - DIRECTOR

John and his Brother Ian (who has lived in a dome building for two decades), provided the original inspiration for the business.

John is a founding partner of Domeshells Australia Pty. Ltd. and an accomplished inventor of innovative building products in his own right. With a background in marketing, administration and training, John's innate ability to "think outside the square" has contributed substantially to the success of the Domeshells building system.
