Domeshells Training and Education

Dome Building E-Manuals and Online Dome Building Video Courses

It is our mission to provide a means for anyone anywhere to build a strong, safe and comfortable home or shelter that is capable of sustaining extreme natural forces such as cyclones, hurricanes, earthquakes, flood, fire and more.

Domeshells has developed a range of manuals and online video courses that are based on live hands-on workshops and real projects.

Domeshells “basalt fibre rebar” reinforced concrete shell structures are unique with so many benefits in material saving, longevity, comfort and very high security.

We utilize similar methods but with varying degrees of sophistication. The simplest and most basic utilizes bamboo galvanized mesh, sand and cement.

Dome Building E-Manuals

The manuals below can be purchased separately or as a bundle.

Build a Domeshell Structure using Bamboo, Galvanized Mesh, Sand and Cement

The simplest, cheapest easy to get materials. We have proven that using split bamboo as the medium for fabricating a cage of the structure, fixing layers of galvanized mesh and rendering over the inside and outside produces a thin concrete shell structure capable of 7.1 earthquake.

Build a Domeshell Structure using Basalt Fibre Rebar, Mesh and Chopped Fibre

Next level up. Domeshells has pioneered the use of basalt fibre concrete reinforcing in Australia.  Two times the tensile strength of steel and resistant to corrosion this system is designed for comfort, protection and longevity. Domeshells system can be built in all Council areas of Australia.

The No Mould Dome Building Method

A more simple and slower method

A membership course comprising 23 videos, detailed plans, mix designs quantities and much more.

Membership includes: Bamboo e-manual, Basalt e-manual

This video course teaches the method of constructing a dome using “basalt rebar” by fabricating a cage in the shape of the structure and applying basalt mesh and cement render.
