In this eight day workshop you will learn how to build a DOME shaped building by hands-on experience. The method we teach is applicable to any size structure.
This workshop is suitable for DIY, trades and licensed builders who are using our method to build cabins, small homes and large custom design multi-dome homes.
Bush Fire, Cyclone and Earthquake
Domeshells has created a bush-fire resistant building design that complies with the Australian STANDARD AS 3959:2018 – BAL – FZ.
A combination of structural and aerated concrete formed into a seamless shell means that it will sustain the highest possible rating. There are no joins or seams in the structure that means there is no entry point for embers.
When combined with the appropriate window and door system a Domeshell home is the safest house you can get.
In addition to being of the highest bush fire rating, it is also cyclone rated and earthquake resistant.
Furthermore, a Domeshell house is reinforced with “Basalt Fibre Reinforcing” meaning that it will never have concrete cancer and the integrity of the structure will never be compromised by corrosion of the reinforcing.
