Eight-Day Dome Building Workshop
This workshop is suitable for DIYers, tradespeople, and licensed builders who are using our method to build cabins, small homes, and large custom-designed multi-dome homes.
Bushfire, Cyclone and Earthquake
Domeshells has created a bushfire-resistant building design that complies with the Australian Standard AS 3959:2018 – BAL-FZ.
A combination of structural and aerated concrete, formed into a seamless shell, means it meets the highest possible rating. There are no joints or seams in the structure, so there is no entry point for embers.
When combined with the appropriate window and door system, a Domeshell home is the safest house you can get.
In addition to being of the highest bushfire rating, it is also cyclone-rated and earthquake-resistant.
Furthermore, a Domeshell house is reinforced with “Basalt Fibre Reinforcing”, meaning it will never develop concrete cancer, and the structure’s integrity will never be compromised by corrosion of the reinforcing.
