Basalt Reinforced Dome Building Workshop
We still have two places left at our upcoming dome-building workshop, running from 21 to 26 January, where you will learn a simple new method for building beautiful, engineered, cyclone-rated dome buildings. Get hands-on experience with the same method used to build an 8.0 m dome or larger as we build a complete 3.0m-diameter dome in six days.
What is unique about our method is that we use basalt fibre reinforcement, which is twice as strong as steel, doesn't corrode or rust, and is only a quarter of the weight. The system is simple for anyone to learn. The workshop is for anyone, DIY and builders who are keen to learn a new building method.
Domeshells produces designs, plans, and engineering for council approvals for backyard cabins and up to multi-dome homes.
The Domeshells basalt-reinforced domes offer people all over the world the opportunity to live in affordable, strong, safe housing that will withstand all the extreme forces of climate change.
